Travel Vaccinations, don’t let illness stop you in your tracks
International travel is a fantastic thing for your body, mind and spirit, but visiting some countries can
present serious health risks. Make sure an avoidable illness doesn’t ruin your trip, get vaccinated and
we’ll help you out with up to $150 in yearly benefits.
It is important that you discuss your travel plans with a health professional so they can determine
the correct vaccinations for your trip and any booster doses of childhood vaccinations that may be necessary.
Make an appointment with your GP or travel clinic for at least 6-8 weeks before you are due to
depart, to discuss your vaccination needs.
To claim, just send a copy of the prescription for your travel vaccinations with a completed claim form to Australian Unity.
- No waiting period
- $150 per person per calendar year on Comprehensive Extras & Smart Start
- $150 per person up to $300 per family per calendar year for all other Extras and Combination covers excluding Basic Extras
- $100 per person per calendar year on Basic Extras cover
- A copy of your prescription is required when claiming
- Available with all current Extras and Combination covers except Care 'n Repair, Overseas Visitors Cover
