Member Support Program, for getting better at home

Member Support Program

Hospital is where you go when you’re sick, need surgery or are having a baby and most people want to get home as soon as possible. And now, with our unique Member Support Program, you can.

If your doctor says it’s ok, with Member Support you can continue receiving the health care you need to get back on your feet in the comfort of your own home. Services include private nursing care, personal care, nappy services and childcare.

To ensure you get the services right for you one of the Member Support Program nurse co-ordinators will arrange the appropriate services in conjunction with your Doctor.

Member Support is not available at every hospital, but where it is, the hospital staff or your doctor will make the referral to the Member support program. Australian Unity staff are not involved in any clinical assessment.
